wild moves international | overview
Get ready to dance and witness a feast of abundant traditional and popular street rhythms from across the African Diaspora.

In the Akan language of Ghana, “Mawu” is the feminine energy of God, symbolised by the moon and forever watching over the Earth and her children. She is known as Mother Earth and celebrated in all her mysteries of life through singing, drumming and dance theatre that will leave you in awe of your responsibility as caretaker of our land.

The Australian interpretation of Mawu is called Wild Moves and will have you partying with performers from all over Africa and Australia.

Wild Moves have held many drum and dance workshops, artist-in-residence programs and professional development seminars in educational settings, across the wider community and into the corporate sector…

You name it ... we'll create it!
